As an active member of numerous industrial, technical, scientific or institutional networks, IFTH is widely involved in the future of Textile-Apparel by participating in studies and actions carried out by all of the trade's players.

IFTH also chairs Textranet, a European association that includes nearly 30 industrial and technical Textile-Apparel centres and is a member of the French ITC network.

Thanks to this European network, IFTH opens the doors to collaborative industrial networks to its customers in order to develop study and research projects together and offer new opportunities at both a technological and commercial level.

To better serve its customers in developing their activities at an international level, IFTH has established a network of partners that can assist them in their innovation and quality approach. To control productions coming from Asia, IFTH has joined with CMA Testing and Certification Laboratories, an independent organisation that plays a strategic role in the area of conformity assessment and quality assurance, and created the IFTH-CMA Limited joint venture in Hong Kong in October 2006.
- Member of the Mediterranean zone countries, IFTH participates effectively in the   development of Euromed and its textile research programmes.
- Because of its linguistic and cultural affinity, the Institute has also approached the   CTT Group in Canada to promote complementary innovative solutions.
