In regards to technical improvement, we remain convinced that, over and above the choice for more and more effective fibres, innovation will propose textiles with added functional properties (antistatic, anti-bacterial, etc.). This evolution must be accompanied by a validation of the types of yarns used in a true medical approach. This is how IFTH must contribute, with all of its textile expertise, in medical research.
