Tools assisting in Creation/Design and Product Marketing

Origin

To overcome the remoteness of production sites, the splitting of tasks and the acceleration in cycles, the needs of companies to anticipate, predict and react have not stopped growing. In addition, European manufacturing companies have gone progressively from selling a “production of volume” to an offer of “services” that integrate both upstream manufacturing problems and innovative solutions in the product marketing phase. At the same time, defective manufacturing and inappropriate material/product associations have led to a greater demand for expertise.

It is in this context that the Product Design and Manufacturability platform in Cholet and the Tools assisting in Creation and Selling platform arising from the CNNITH project in Roanne were created then brought together, thus regrouping cross-over initiatives of governing bodies, the R2ITH network, the French Education System, solution providers and industrial companies in the Textile and Apparel sectors.

Located in two major manufacturing regions, the platform provides true venues for innovation and knowledge transfer. It also serves the purpose of initiating industrial companies to new technologies and trades, and allowing them to integrate these into their organisation.
