P2F – Since June 2009, a new Institut Français du Textile et de l’Habillement technological platform, located in Flaviac (Ardèche), offers prototyping services such as compounding or spinning.
At the end of 2007, nine companies of the Drôme/Ardèche Local Production System (SPL), which had wanted to differentiate themselves by developing innovative fibres, requested that a technological spinning platform be established in France. The Institut Français du Textile et de l’Habillement (IFTH) was entrusted with setting up and operating this development tool, and now guarantees that all companies wanting to innovate in this area have access to it.
This project was made possible as early as 2008 thanks to the financial support of different partners:
