Origin

The emergence of new 3D, seamless or integral knitting technologies has generated technological breakthroughs relative to traditional production processes. It has also enhanced the creation of innovative products. Nevertheless, developments in these types of technologies remain rather limited in France. This is why the UNIT and Regional Champage-Ardenne Steering Committee of the Industrial Network for Innovation in Textile and Apparel (R2ITH) have lent their support to a progress-oriented approach in order to incite innovative initiatives, assist industrial companies in this technological mutation and strengthen the Champagne-Ardenne pole of excellence. Regional, national and European financing has contributed to setting up a complete tool at the service of industrial companies.
