1 - Skills in technological, economic, strategic, regulatory and standard watch
One of the essential functions expected from a technical centre such as IFTH is to provide to the Textile-Apparel network and its own teams the relevant scientific, technical, economic and regulatory information that is essential in mastering the evolutions in one’s sector of activity, as well as information from all other sectors of interest to Textile-Apparel, and in adapting one’s offer accordingly.
2 - A team benefiting from the latest monitoring technologies
Based on an effective GEIDE (Electronic Information and Document Management for Companies) system, IFTH’s monitoring service is constantly improving its access to information in order to enrich its studies and adapt its answers to the different needs expressed, both internally and by its external customers.
3 - A network of multi-disciplinary experts specialising in textile technologies, applications and markets
IFTH’s monitoring team acts in perfect synergy with the different engineers of the research teams and enhances its in-depth thought process by calling on the richness of their complementary experiences in the areas of textile, apparel, chemistry, physics, materials, quality, logistics, management, etc.
4 - A partner for collective or private undertakings
Through thematic or regional watch clubs, or through its action in European research programmes, IFTH’s strategic intelligence offers collective undertakings in which information on an industrial sector or a specific market is shared. In parallel, and prior to certain research undertakings, industrial companies may call on IFTH’s private watch services for more specific information and to better target their innovation policy.
5 - The leader in European textile research
Widely involved in national or European structures linked to textile innovation, IFTH carries out numerous, wide-reaching collective research programmes and positions itself as an essential player in Europe. The size of its teams places it at the head of organisations that act as motors for innovation.
